Some of you guys inspired me to roll out with the Justin 。Justin boots, style L 3802, size 8C. Tan/cognac brown leather, classic western profile with a rounded toe, understated stitching on the shaft, and pull straps that have held up like they were supposed to. Goodyear welt construction — the kind that can be resoled when the time comes, which is the whole point of buying real boots in the first place. These have been worn. The vamps show surface scuffing and some light creasing consistent with actual use, and one toe has a small scuff worth noting — photographed and visible. The leather soles show wear at the ball of the foot with a small stress crack on one; the heels have been replaced with rubber Goodyear units, which is a practical upgrade that extends the life of the boot considerably. Interior leather lining is intact and in good shape. No blown seams, no separation, no structural issues. Not a shelf queen. Not a parts boot either. These are working boots that have some miles on them and plenty left to go. A pass through with conditioner and they’ll look significantly better than the photos suggest.
